Care & Color Fastness
Every yard is stamped by hand using carved teak blocks. Minor registration overlaps and natural indigo dye shifts are signatures of authentic Chippa craftsmanship, not defects.
Our standard minimum order quantity is 100 meters per design. We offer custom block development; clients retain full ownership of their bespoke carved teak blocks.
Our natural vegetable and indigo dyes are sun-cured in Sanganer. Wash cold separately with mild pH-neutral detergent to preserve the deep, organic color depth over time.
We recommend ordering entire production runs at once to ensure maximum color consistency across your batch.
Sample swatches are available for verified trade accounts prior to full contract commitment.
Avoid direct, prolonged sunlight during drying to prevent premature fading of natural pigments.
